Credit- and Debit-Card Security: Practical Information for Restaurants
July 20, 2007

The issue of data security for restaurants and other merchants who accept debit and credit cards has been a front-page news item recently. All card-accepting restaurants, regardless of size, are required to comply with security standards developed by the major payment-card companies. The standard is known as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, or PCI DSS. This Webinar provided a business-oriented overview of the PCI standard, including the practical steps merchants can take to move toward compliance and reduce exposure.
